Phillip Alcock is the AI Education Lead and Co-Founder of PBL Future Labs, where he designs AI-integrated, project-based STEM curriculum and trains educators to implement it effectively.
Phillip's approach replaces traditional non-inclusive busywork with inclusive project-based learning experiences where students build portfolios of meaningful work using AI tools that amplify (not automate) their thinking.
He has designed learning programs and trained implementation teams for organizations including Harvard University, Stanford University, ISTE+ASCD, TeachAI, and education systems across 15+ countries.
As AI Lead, Phillip builds curriculum, develops AI workflow frameworks, and leads educator training for school networks, districts, homeschool communities, and edtech companies implementing student-centered learning at scale.

Thom Markham, PhD, Co-Founder & Creative Director, is a specialist in positive psychology, project-based learning (PBL), and global entrepreneurship in education.
Thom's commitment to re-imagining education is reflected in his book, Redefining Smart: Awakening Students’ Power to Re imagine Their World. He advocates for mobilizing youth to become design thinkers, insightful citizens, and empathetic collaborators, with a focus on sustainability and the common good. He has shared his expertise with over 6,000 teachers and 400 schools worldwide.
As Creative Director of PBL Future Labs, Thom’s role is to guide the creative direction. by leveraging his expertise in project based learning, positive psychology and global education.
